Dear Friends,
It's official: we have lost our minds (and our causitas!) and have signed up to The Mototaxi Junket in order to raise money for the excellent charity Operation Smile UK.
In a nutshell this is a reckless, ill-advised and very dangerous 4,000 km journey over the Andes, through desert, jungle or altiplano (the route is up to us) from Lima in Peru to Asunción, the capital of Paraguay...
It might sound like a fun and interesting trip to make and it would be, except that we have to do it driving a mototaxi (basically a 125cc motor tricycle with a small sofa bolted on the back).
Since it's all for a very good cause and we might never be seen again, please be as generous as you can so that if we do actually disappear, our stupidity will not have been in vain!
