London to Paris Cycle Ride · 11 June 2008 ·

We want to ensure that every patient at Addenbrooke's and the Rosie hospitals experiences the highest quality of care available. We raise funds for cutting edge technology, additional specialist staff and extra comforts for patients, over and above what is possible with NHS funding alone.

Story

Charles Wilson, Consultant Oncologist, Ruchi Sinnatamby, Consultant Radiologist, Elena Provenzano, Consultant Histopathologist and  Rob Saunders, a relative of a former breast cancer patient, have completed the London to Paris cycle ride of 300 miles to raise over £5,000 for the Breast Cancer Research Unit at Addenbrooke’s. The final count was 2 punctures, 1 fall including a wet bath, 1got lost and went  another 10Km, 1rain drenched day , 1 scary ride around the arc de triomphe and a great welcome at the eiffel tower. A truly multidisciplinary effort.

The cycle ride is part of the Pink Rose Dinner Campaign 2008
