Dear all

After the success of last year’s Lent term training camp in France, CCBC are planning on repeating the trip. The camp proved very beneficial last year both for improving technique and helping to integrate ex-novice members into the senior squad.

Once again, the club will travel with 4 crews to near Lyon in France using the same coach company, lake and accommodation as last year. The Boat Club Steering Committee as well as the College itself have both given their support to the camp financially. The students will also be finically contributing to the camp. However, even with all that support, we are still in need of fundraising some more money towards the camp. Hence, a sponsored erg has been organised again. The challenge is again to complete 1000,000m in one day as a club. Last year proved what a difficult challenge this is and will take the entire club, both current members and alumni to pull together to achieve to goal.

Every current member would be deeply appreciated if you could sponsor the erg to help fund the camp. The erg will happen on Saturday 3rd December, beginning at 6am and hoping to finish by the time of the Boat Club dinner that evening. Updates during the day will be announced on the boat club website: http://www.christs.cam.ac.uk/boatclub/

Many thanks for your generous support.
