On September 14th I plan to cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh on the Pedal for Scotland charity cycle ride. The route is about 50 miles or roughly 80 km, which will be the most I've ever cycled in a day.

I'm riding to raise money for Waverley Care - a Scottish charity which supports people affected by HIV. While modern treatments have made a big difference to those who are infected and their families, the problems of coming to terms with and living with HIV are numerous and funding all too often inadequate.

Any amount you can spare, large or small, is greatly appreciated and will help spur me on to the finish!
