Alan Thompson, Simon Redfern, Ross Ovens & David Fallon will be undertaking the demanding charity challenge of cycling from London to Paris over the course of four days.

The team, who all work in the Centrica Renewables Group, will cover approximately 500km total distance or an average of 125km per day (78 miles), through the English countryside over to rural France and on to the heart of Paris, finishing under the Eiffel Tower!

This is all in support of a very good cause, which is to raise as much money as possible in support of CLIC Sargent.  This is a charity specialising in helping children with cancer and their families.  Every day 10 families are told that their child has cancer.  As the's leading children's cancer charity, CLIC Sargent is the only organisation to offer them all round care and support. Our aim is to raise £20,000.

The challenge will take place between 9 & 13 September, which doesn’t give us much time to train and raise the all important donations.
If you wish to become a major sponsor of this effort we will be happy to print your company logo onto the teams t-shirts and to take various photos for any press reports.

We would really appreciate your support for our efforts to help this excellent charity and would appeal to you for a donation.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor us: CLIC Sargent gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.
