On the 1st October the Gala Gaming Exec and their senior team will embark on an adventure of pain and hardship, as they attempt to walk in the footsteps of the all conquering Roman Centurions.

For 25 miles they will scale and trek across the mighty Hadrian’s Wall and, unfettered by the trappings of the 21st century they will transport themselves to a simpler time when men were men and women were …... well women.

Dressed in full Centurion armour and flowing Togas these 15 brave men and women will march headlong across the harshest landscape in Britain, and will throw themselves at the mercy of the fiercest elements for 2 long days and nights.

So why do our intrepid heroes sacrifice themselves in this way? And why are these souls leaving their little ones abandoned far away in the comfort of their homes to embark on this perilous challenge?

The answer is simple – they have set themselves a righteous quest of raising £11,000 for Sue Ryder Care, and nothing nor no one will deflect our heroes from achieving the task!

This will be Simon Longbo’s toughest challenge as against all the odds, and in the face of untold danger, he will attempt to lead the team to victory and honour!

Our intrepid adventurers - Simon, Peter, Tom, Jo, Mark, Nick, together with John Petit, Matt Craven, Graeme Fletch’, Ewen Mc’, Diane Atkins, Oli Vella, Ian Bennett, Patrick Noakes and Sue Turner-Magill will overcome whatever lies ahead but…..

We need your help please to achieve this colossal undertaking!

So please! please! give as much as you can afford to help us reach our target for this tremendously worthwhile cause!

May Strength and Honour always be with you!
