Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Beginning in May, Clare and Chrissie are walking the South Downs Way.  Starting in Eastbourne and walking all the way to Winchester - a journey of 100 miles.  Being a little out of practice, we're not planning to do this all in one go but over several weekends and several days at our own pace and when time permits.  We plan to complete the full distance in 7 days and to finish by the end of July.

It's certainly not going to be an epic adventure, but the opportunity to walk a long distance path that's on our doorstep and if we can raise funds for Macmillan along the way - even better.  Both of us have lost family to cancer and supporting a cancer related charity will make it all the more worthwhile and give us a sense of purpose.

You can keep track of our progress on my blog: www.sussexnaturenotes.co.uk

Our rough timetable is as follows - subject to change. Updated as we go.

Day 1: Eastbourne to Exceat (10 miles) - DONE

Day 2: Exceat to Southease (10 miles) - DONE

Day 3: Southease to Ditchling Beacon (10 miles) - 5th June

Day 4: Ditchling Beacon to River Adur (9 miles)

Day 5: River Adur to Amberley(13 miles)
