Event: The Lake Land Challenge
We are a national charity providing support to the farming community in England & Wales

Story

On Friday 24th July, staff at Ceva UK will take on The Lake Land Challenge in order to raise money for our two charities of the year, Hope Rescue and R.A.B.I.  This is our sponsorship page for R.A.B.I.

Here is the challenge that awaits us:

The Lake Land Challenge

For this challenge teams will be tasked with not only building their raft but also having to scavenge the equipment needed from around the huge lake which spans 130 acres!

The teams will get to use high tech navigation equipment which will provide them with the location of the kit stashes based around the lake and by using their teams skill set must navigate and bring back as much kit as possible.

Some of the kit will be easy to handle although heavy poles and barrels will require the teams to dig in and use team work and aggression to transport the kit back to base for the big build.

Once all the teams have returned and the deadline closed for the kit search the big build commences!

The teams will now be tasked with building their 8 person rafts and must sail out to an island to retrieve the treasure before the other teams beat them to it. However it's not that simple as speed boats will be swirling around the rafts to hinder their approach.

Only the fittest and most determined of teams will succeed here with team work, leadership and grit winning the day!
