Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

After the successful event last year (raised over £4000 together) where we cycled from Reading to Bristol (over 100 miles), we are back with a mega event this year starting June 25, 2011 where some of us are participating in a bike ride from London to New Delhi

13 countries
10000 kilometers
100 days

We will be covering the first 80 miles (London to Dover) while, Srinivas Alluri (Please read: http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/Cyclist-s-6-000-mile-trip-13-countries/story-12811944-detail/story.html), will be doing the complete route from London to New Delhi and other participants joining him in different legs of the journey, with humanitarian workshops planned enroute. For those who do not know Srinivas (founder of "Manavata" - meaning humanity), he is really a "superman" and an inspiration to many and a true example of selflessness, driving us towards creating a better society.

We are playing a very small part in this harmonious bike ride but we need wider support in terms of participation and funds to help achieve the humanitarian goals that "manavata" has set.

Kindly donate in whatever mode you prefer - volunteering, cycling, fundraising in your own way or donating here with justgiving.

Note: All interested participants have funded themselves for the equipment, travel etc., of this event and all sponsorship funds will be used entirely towards humanitarian activities of "manavata".

Cyclingforhumanity is one of the many initiatives of Manavata. Manavata is a worldwide (registered charity in India, UK and USA) voluntary, non profitable and non religious organisation working towards betterment of our society.

Thank you
