We provide excellence in hospice care to support local children and young adults

Story

Chandlers Ford Methodist Church Youth Club has selected Naomi House Children's Hospice as it's adopted Charity.

On 2 August 2010 a group of club members between the ages of 9 and 18 mounted a motley collection of bicycles at John o'Groats, the most north-easterly point in Scotland.  Riding 50 to 60 miles each day they arrived at Land's End, the most southwesterly point in England on 21 August 2010.

We have had some fantastic support from local business offering to provide support vehicle hire and bicycle spares at reduced prices, and from to churches along the route to allow us to unroll our sleeping bags on churh hall floors each night.

Before embarking on this adventure, none of the young people had cycled more than 25 miles in a day (nor have some of the adults), but as if that isn't enough of a challenge each rider, children and adults alike, has been asked to raise at least £1000 in sponsorship.

We hope you will be able to contribute towards our target.
