Story
This page has been set up in support of the 10 Antlers players who are turning out at Twickenham on the 8th April for the Cystic Fibrosis XV vs The House of Lords and the House of Commons XV.
Cystic Fibrosis is a poignant subject for the close knit Antlers team as winger Nicholas Lovell is a sufferer of the disease which is the’s most common life-threatening inherited disease
The money raised is to support the CF Trust and their groundbreaking medical research to stop CF at its root cause; the faulty gene. If successful, gene therapy will stop the development of the lung damage that claims 90% of lives lost to CF. We are now at an exciting but critical time in our the gene therapy programme and desperately need funds to ensure progress can continue.
The CF Team will be captained by GMTV's Ben Shephard who will line up against Rugby Legend Rob Andrews at Twickenham Stadium on the 8th April
The boys are trying to raise a total of £5000 in a short space of time and would very much appreciate your help.
