Story

Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.

We made it! From June 22-26 June, a group of us walked the length of Hadrian's Wall, and had a good array of blisters, aches and pains, but more importantly a sense of achievement at the end of it!

Thank you to everyone who sponsored us and who helped us to get to our target of £3000 - we are very nearly there!

We organised the walk along the route of Hadrian's Wall (North of England) to help raise money for research into Russell-Silver syndrome, a rare growth disorder which our daughter Emily suffers from. So little is known about this disorder and we would like to raise money for more research into its causes and treatments. The Child Growth Foundation - which receives no government aid and depends totally on charity donation and fund-raising - pioneers research into rare growth disorders including Russell-Silver syndrome, and help raise awareness amongst the medical profession and the public. They also offer huge support network to affected families and organise annual conventions where we can meet other families and children. Knowledge is power - help us to increase it.

Thank you very much for your support, Rachel & Dan Pidcock
