On the 1st June I will be setting on a long distance bike ride from Land's End to Kidderminster in efforts to raise money for The Emily Jordan Foundation. This charity was set up in Em's name following her passing in April 2008 and aims to: "help individuals with moderate learning or physical disabilities to lead fulfilled lives."
Although I have been training hard for my part in the cycle ride (for the time I can get off work) the real star of this whole challenge will be Alex Jordan (pictured), Em's brother. Alex, along with Chris and Jonny, will be cycling the entire distance from Land's End to John O'Groats - an amazing feat that they hope to accomplish inside 20 days. Along with this core group there will be an abundance of cyclists joining at different stages along the way and riding various distances all raising money towards this great cause.
I know times are hard in this current financial climate but if you can spare some cash then please sponsor myself and the rest of the cyclists on this challenge. The money will be going directly to a very worthwhile and personal cause.
Thanks so much.
Chris
