Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My name is Cameron, I'm nine years old and I live in Newbury.

I have a condition called spinal muscular atrophy, which weakens my muscles, and I have to use a wheelchair.

I started playing wheelchair football a year ago and I love it.

I play for Reading Powerchair Football Club, and it's helped me to make a lot of new friends.

I really look forward to training every week and I love scoring goals and going really fast in the powered wheelchair that I borrow to play.

But the wheelchair that I borrow doesn't fit me properly and it isn't as fast  as the wheelchairs that the other players use.

Because it doesn't fit me properly it's also uncomfortably  and it can be quite painful to use.

I want to get better at football, and get picked for the team, but until I get my own wheelchair this won't happen.

My mum and dad said that I need a new wheelchair to help me develop but the one that would suit me the best costs £6,000.

That's too much for us so that's why we've set up this Just Giving page.

Please help me to get the powered wheelchair that I need to continue playing the game that I love.

Thank you!
