"24" is a challenge to cycle from Marble Arch (London) to Arc d'Triomphe (Paris) within 24 hours. Time starts when the team leave Marble Arch and finishes when the last member of the team reaches the Arc d' Triomphe.
This challenge is usually a 5 or 3 day challenge but it was decided (on New Years eve 2010) that the real challenge would not be to just cover the 289 miles but to do so against the clock in a time period that would require the whole process to go perfectly to meet the time periods
Through maticulous planning (???) "24" was born and 3:30pm 24th June 2011 will see the start of the challenge . If successful the team will be completed by 3:30pm (GMT) 25th June 2011 at the base of Arc de Triomphe Paris.
Unfortunately some friends of Richard's (Dickie) needed the support of EACH during the sadly short life of their son Jeremiah. It is a story that explains the need and important work that the EACH organisation do far better than we ever could so please visit our website (www.thehelps.co.uk/24/24%20Why.htm) to read their story in their own words.
