We’re the only charity fighting to end child abuse in the UK and Channel Islands. That’s why we help children who’ve been abused to rebuild their lives, we protect children at risk, and we find the best ways of preventing child abuse from ever happening.

Story

April 2009, with 30 races completed I am running FLM for the 4th time and as race number 31. Remember to dig deep and support me in this challenge.

Challenge 40

This is my attempt to run 40 marathons/half-marathons before I am 40 in August 2009 to raise £40,000 for Childline/NSPCC.

Please dig deep and donate as much as you can, every penny donated will help.

So why the NSPCC? The answer to this question lies in the aim of the NSPCC:

We want to see a society where all children are loved, valued and able to fulfil their potential.

There is not really much to add to this, but to say that if by running these races and raising the money I can achieve this aim for just one child then it has all been worth while. Help me achieves this goal and make a difference to so many children in our country who need our help.

Thank you in advance, every donation received gives me more encouragement to keep on running. To find out more about Challenge 40 and to see how I am getting on go to www.challenge40.co.uk.
