I’ve taken the train, plane and car to Paris, but this September I’ll be taking my bike! Yes, I will be powering my bike via brie and baguettes over 284miles (460km in Euro money)in four days, as part of the The Royal British Legion ‘Pedal To Paris’.

It’s been on my to do list for many years, and this is a unique opportunity to ride to Paris with fellow Splunkers, raising money for The Royal British Legion, on the centenary of the First World War. We will be passing though La Somme, which will be a privileged but moving experience, and will be my own way of commemorating those who we owe so much to, while knowing I’m raising money for the charity which supports the welfare of veterans, their families, and current service men/women and their families.
