Welcome to our Channel Eagle 2009 Fundraising page.
This year 5 relay teams of 6 swimmers will race across the English Channel to compete for the coveted Channel Eagle Trophy.
The Army, Navy, RAF, a team from Battle Back and a team from Wales UOTC will complete a gruelling race which, in our first year, 2007, took about 15 hours to complete!
First and foremost this is a military event which will challenge all those taking part and help us grow. Secondly though, we are so grateful that with the help of our friends, family and supporters we have an opportunity to raise money for a charity close to all our hearts; HELP FOR HEROES: Event Ref No: 116238-554A1 Hants
We would like to thank everyone who is helping us, and we mean everyone. All of your good wishes - as well as your hard earned pounds of course - will help us achieve our Cross Channel Challenge and raise money.
