6 relay teams of 6 swimmers, at least two of whom must be female, will be racing across the English Channel from Dover to France - a race never attempted before. The 22 mile swim is arduous, very cold and not without risk. Team members will swim for an hour at a time, dodging tankers, seaweed and the odd jellyfish. Last year we raised £16,000 - smashing our target by £6,000. This year we'd like to raise £9,000 - please help us top it. Helping us by donating online is also a great opportunity for you to leave a message to help spur our swimmers on. Your good wishes are very much appreciated. Follow our progress at www.armyopenwaterswimming.co.uk Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Army Benevolent Fund will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Many thanks for your support.
