On 9th May 2009 I will be taking part in Just Walk's 40km walk to raise money for Earthwatch.

The money you donate will be going towards the Saving Sweetwaters' Rhinos expedition.

There are only 400 rhinos left in Kenya, and this project looks at the ecology and behaviour of the black rhino and at the interaction between them and competing large mammals such as elephants and giraffes.

In September I will be going to Kenya and spending time on this valuable project, so please sponsor me on my big long walk!

UPDATE - Just-Walk 2009 has now taken place and I am pleased to say that I completed my 40km challenge in 9 hours 50 minutes... 10 minutes under my target time of 10 hours.
