Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page...

SADLY, THE WEATHER GOT THE BETTER OF US ON OUR PLANNED CRICKET DAY & BHCC's LOVELY GROUND WAS NOT FIT FOR PLAY. I TAKE FULL RESPONSIBILITY FOR NAIVELY SCHEDULING AN OUTDOOR EVENT SO CLOSE TO MIDSUMMER'S DAY! I WOULD LIKE HOWEVER, TO ACKNOWLEDGE THE PLAYERS WHO WERE PREPARED TO TAKE PART - PLUS MEMBERS OF BHCC & OUR TRUST SUPPORTERS WHO SO GENEROUSLY TRIED TO MAKE THIS EVENT HAPPEN. YOU KNOW WHO YOU ARE - AND MY GRATEFUL THANKS TO ALL!

On Sunday June 10th 2012, our intrepid band of highly-tuned athletes will be stepping out on Buckhurst Hill CC's 'field of dreams' to do battle for the Joseph Clarke Cricket Cup - all in aid of the Blind & Partially Sighted Children of the Joseph Clarke Special School in Highams Park London E4. This year we are staging a Summer Fete in addition to the cricket, so do come along & enjoy a great family day in the (we hope) June sunshine. You can be confident you will be helping some terrific kids and a really deserving cause!
