Myself Simon Mcbride and Steve Garland where jumping for charity on the 27th August 2011.

Due to bad weather we had to cancel and has now been rearranged to jump again.

We will be collecting as much as we can for our chosen charity Children’s Hospice South West a great local charity providing care for children who have illnesses which mean they will die before reaching adulthood. We provide expert care for them, their parents and well siblings.

You can donate direct through Just giving or you can visit our website www.charityfreefall.co.uk to keep upto date with all the money raised and more details about where we are jumping. Do come along and watch the event unfold on the South West.

We are aiming to raise £2500 for Children’s Hospice South West so we need all the help we can, please donate anything you can.

Our Jump:

Once aboard the aircraft, we will be securely harnessed to your Instructor as you ride up to 15,000ft, taking in views above one of the most scenic Drop Zones in the country.

Once at altitude and we get the green light for ‘GO!’ we will experience the most exhilarating, adrenaline pumping moment of our life as we and your instructors edge towards the door and your ears are filled with the rush of air and engine noise.

As we exit the aircraft we will experience speeds of 120mph as the adrenaline rushes over us for up to a full minute, freefalling up to 2 miles!!

As the large canopy unfolds, we will become aware of the sudden peace and quiet of the parachute ride lasting approx. 5 minutes.
