<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>Hi my name is Charles George, and I am fundraising for my volunteering trip to <strong>Brazil with the International Service</strong>. The aim of the programme is to eliminate poverty and help communities improve their access to healthy food. It contributes towards fulfilling the Millenium Development Goals 1 (End Poverty), 7 (Environmental Sustainability) and 8 (Building Global Partnerships)</p> <p>In my 3 months in Brazil, I will be helping to cultivate farming and forestry plots by using natural and organic methods, developing ideas for selling the produce to more people in more places etc.</p> <p>I hope to gain some sponsorship through "<strong>Learning to Swim</strong>". I am bold enough to admit - I AM SCARED OF WATER! In university, I tried to learn to swim on my own after one of my friends told he was able to learn on his own. Guess how that went? I nearly drowned! Flailing about in the water was an EPIC FAIL. I didn't get rescued though ... PHEW ...
