Shelterbox is a vital charity, providing those unfortunate enough to be on the recieving end of a disaster the means and support to get back on their feet with dignity and provide shelter and support.It is a local charity started in Helston that now has influence and operates around the world.Each box can support 10 people and costs £490, I want to raise enough to buy 10 boxes- meaning every mile I run has the potential to save a life.

I started running in August 2008 to stave off middle age- my goal to run a half marathon, full marathon and ultramarathon in the first 6 months of 2009.I soon became addicted, running has supported me through some tough times and now I want to repay.

I am not a natural athlete, but I am strong willed.I am interested in pushing myself to the limit and to see how far the power of the mind can take you.
