We help blind and partially sighted people to break down the barriers of sight loss

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page and for any donation which you are able to send.

I will be walking the 97 miles of towpaths around the Cheshire Ring canal system from 15th to 17th May 2007 to raise funds for the National Library for the Blind (NLB).  You can find out more about their work by visiting their website (http://www.nlb-online.org/). The NLB, which is part of the RNIB, is a registered charity and a leading agency in the provision of library and information services for visually impaired people. I aim to raise sufficient money for them to produce at least 2 braille books and would be delighted if you would contribute to this cause. No sum is too small and my thanks go to you for any contribution you can make.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: RNIB will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

My walk is also being sponsored by parents, children and staff at St Catherine's Preparatory School in Marple Bridge Cheshire (www.stcatherinesprep.co.uk) so thanks to them for their support.

Many thanks for your support.
