About our charity : L'Arche L'Arche
L'Arche builds communities with people who have learning disabilities. Together with assistants, they live in ordinary houses, with choice in and access to work, therapy and local resources. The nine L'Arche communities in England, Scotland and Wales are founded on Christian values, also welcoming people of other faiths and none.

So please sponsor us now! Hugh and Charles are running for L'Arche because they wish to support the work done by Gilly Greenwood (Charles' sister/ Hugh's aunt) with L'Arche Lambeth. This will be Hugh's first half marathon. Charles will be the pace-setter. If tuned in to their I-pods they will communicate by thumbs-up signal (as in the cartoon image) when they want reassurance that all is well with the other! Both of them are shy of asking for donations - hence the use of this more private and less threatening online approach. If you choose to give, LArche will be most grateful. Thank you in any event.
