Story

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page, rather late in the day!!

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Footsteps for Africa gets your money faster and, if you’re a taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

This Saturday, I will be competing  a relay section on the  Blenheim Triathlon to support the support the Kenyan based charity Footsteps forAfrica, Others will be swimming 750m across a lake, jumping on a  bike for 20km, and I will rounding that off with a 5km run., and we are all doing our best for the Rafiki community. Any amount of sponsorship will be greatly appreciated.

A group from the team will be travelling to take part in the Rafiki project. It is an event which has been organised by the ‘Footsteps forAfrica’ charity. The aim of the project is to integrate with, and teach young Kenyan school children new talents. The children live in extremely poor conditions and all the work done is voluntary! The  plan is to teach a large group of the children sports such asrugby and cricket, and  help to build a school, which presently is just a corrugated tin shack.

So please sponsor me now!
