Rome to Jerusalem · 19 March 2005 to 9 April 2005 ·

The Woolf Institute was borne of a simple and hopeful premise: that through robust scholarly study of encounter between Jews Christians &Muslims we can better understand and guide our society at present, and thus inform and shape a more tolerant, respectful, collective future together

Story

A pilgrimage on wheels from Rome to Jerusalem- Why?
To help the development of closer relationships between christian and Jews and to promote the centre in Cambridge.
It's also a personal midlife challenge
I'm in good company. I'm the one on the right next to the director of the centre Ed Kessler and fellow pilgrims.
Cardinal Walter Kasper (the Vatican's man holding the bike), the Archbishop of Canterbury Rowan Williams and the
Chief Rabbi Jonathan Sacks were there to cheer us on.
So if they are for us, will you be?
