The Carers Resource gives tailored support and information to unpaid carers and vulnerable people. It is an independent, award-winning Yorkshire charity which is open to everyone and offers emotional and practical help to enable them to cope.
I am ever so grateful that you have decided to sponsor me at The Great North Run in September. The funds raised will be supporting the Young Carers team at the Carers' Resource. They are currently in touch with 300 young people in Harrogate between the ages of 7 and 18 whose parents or siblings are ill, have a disability or experience mental health, drug or alcohol issues. Your sponsorship will make a real difference to the lives of these young hard working individuals.
I have been training for the race since January this year and hope to acheive a time around 1 hour 50 minutes. Thanks so much for your support!
