My personal message:

HANCOCK ANNOUNCES MARATHON RETIREMENT.

Having run Sunday's London Marathon in 3 Hours 30 Mins Charlie Hancock is retiring from international competition.Citing age as the main reason Hancock explained :

"There is only so much agony my body can endure and although my anti chaffing strategy worked extremely well there are only so many painkillers one can take during the race to stem the pain in other areas"

Hancock will spend time counting all the cash that everyone has kindly donated to Racing Welfare and reaquaint himself with his wife and two small children.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Racing Welfare will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

So please sponsor me now!

Many thanks for your support.

Charlie.
