THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED ME.  I finished the race in 1 hour 54 minutes and 30 seconds.  More importantly by time the final collections are in I think we will have raised over £1500 including the gift aid.  Thank you very much. 

As most of you will know I was in St James' Hospital in November 2006 for 3 weeks having my colon removed.  The staff at Jimmy's were fantastic but the facilities were not as great as most of us would like.  The particular bed I had was not electronic and it meant sitting up etc was very difficult - both for me at the time and the staff who had to help lift me!

My aim is to raise enough for an electronic bed for the ward.  Hopefully we can achieve this through me running the Leeds Half Marathon.
