On 12th October I will be inflicting more pain on myself by taking part in the Royal Parks Foundation Half Marathon.  The route takes us through the beautiful parks of Central London inlcuding Hyde Park, Kensington Gardens, Green Park and St James's Park .  I will be running 13.1 miles on behalf of The Princess Royal's Volunteer Corps (First Aid Nursing Yeomanry) which is a charitable organisation made up of resourceful and unique women from all walks of life.  When required we provide support to the civil and military authorities during a major incident or in planning and exercise roles for the defence of London.
