Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. I have completed the two challenges. One across the desert, one across the ocean and setting a few records in the process, but now we need to help others benefit from it, even if it makes a small difference. There will be one more challenge to help raise more for ACT, but you will have to guess where it may be?

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is ahave to lso the most efficient way to sponsor me: Addenbrooke's Charitable Trust (ACT) will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

The challenges - Last March 2009, I competed in The Marathon des Sables which is an Ultra running race across a part of the Sahara Desert. The race is five and a half marathons run over six days. I came 182nd out of 850 people, despite a leg injury. This February 2010, I competed in the Woodvale Atlantic Rowing Race 2009 which is a self sufficient race with no support for ocean rowing boats. I came 1st out of 32 boats, smashing the British Record and becoming the first ever solo boat to win the race overall. It took just over 52 days. I have also become the first person to complete the world's hardest footrace and toughest rowing race within the same year.

I  want to give back something to Shaun Mcleod Jones who gave so much to me as a great friend. These challenges will raise money for Addenbrooke's Charitable trust. The Hospital that became Shaun's “home from home” for the last thirteen years of his life. Shaun was destined for Rugby Fame but had to retire from rugby due to kidney failure, which eventually took his life six years ago

Please, please help a great cause in memory of a great person, Shaun

Many thanks for your support.
