When we were told the dreadful news that Charlie, our unborn son had a brain disorder called Holoprosencephaly we were devastated, confused and felt very alone. A midwife gave us a small book written by Antenatal Results and Choices (ARC) who offer support and friendship to those in the terrible situation we found ourselves. My target is equivalent to the cost of running the ARC helpline for two weeks.

On Boxing Day 2004 I ran a 5K race - pictures available at www.huffpuff.co.uk

Simon ran the Reading Half Marathon in March 2005 in an amazingly fast time of 1 hour 26 minutes - not bad for a first attempt. Pictures available at http://homepage.ntlworld.com/s.r.cooper/reading/

And having said never again (!!!) I'm running in the Womens Challenge at Hyde Park on 4th September.

Please dig deep and help us reach our target for Charlie.

Thank you in advance, Debby (and Simon)
