As you now know (otherwide you wouldnt be on this fundraising page!) I recieved a ballot place to run the Flora London Marathon again this year!

The charity that i wish to fundraise for is The Fortune Centre of Riding Therapy - an independant college situated in the New Forest for young people with special needs, offering further education through horsemastership and riding therapy.

On a personal level, i first came to know about the work of the Fortune Centre through a term of weekly visits organised by my primary school. From then i have regularly visited as a horse rider independantly and with a club, have gotten to know members of staff well and my sister Sam now teaches there. From these experiences, i have seen the many fantastic facilities and opportunities that the Fortune Centre offers along with the hard work that goes into the residential course that the centre was set up for.

Fundraising is an important part of maintaining the site, keeping  horses, providing residence and staff for the students and promoting the centre to the public in order for further fundraising. Any amount of sponsorship is most welcome and easily done through this website however, if you wish to donate offline, please get in touch as i would be more than happy to do this.
