Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Those that know me will be aware I haven’t got a great head for heights (I thought GoApe was scary!) therefore I hope my agreeing to step in and undertake this skydive will highlight to you the high regard with which I hold this charity and the great need there is for continued financial support to enable Revive-A-Life to continue their good work in Uganda.

Revive a life http://web.revivealifeuganda.org.uk/ is a fantastic charity that provides support and most importantly hope, to orphaned children and vulnerable adults in Uganda. They really do make a difference to the health and wellbeing of the people they support. Their projects have included; the building of a complex that housed and clothed orphans and supporting this Orphan House in becoming self-sufficient. Their vision is to take more children off the slums and streets of Uganda and give them a chance of life.

They also support a medical centre that provides; operations, delivers babies and deals with all check-ups and health problems for the local area – there is no other centre within several miles. One of the biggest issues with medicine in Africa is counterfeit drugs, but Revive a Life are working hard with the local agencies to provide genuine, effective medicine for all of the patients.

What sets Revive a life apart from most other charities is the fact that all donations and fund raising goes to support their work in Uganda, no expenses are paid (even when teams go out to Uganda they pay their own air fares and accommodation!), and every single member of staff is a volunteer, meaning every single penny goes towards the great projects they are involved with!

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now. If you do not want to donate online let me know and I can add your details on to the paper sponsor form.

As I am replacing someone who is unable to do the jump I only have a couple of weeks until the jump date to try and get sponsorship so if you can spread the word and the link for this page it would be much appreciated :-)

Thanks again
