<p>&nbsp;</p> <p class="MsoNormal"><strong><span style="font-size: 13pt; line-height: 115%; font-family: &amp;amp;quot;Calibri&amp;amp;quot;,&amp;amp;quot;sans-serif&amp;amp;quot;; font-weight: normal;">I have decided to give myself a massive challenge (Probably my biggest one ever!!) and have signed up to run the Amsterdam Half Marathon on 21st October 2012 in aid of ELHAP- a Special Needs Adventure Playground. The reason I have chosen this particular charity is because I have now worked as a casual playworker at ELHAP for a year and over this time I have learnt that the service creates such a positive impact on the service user&rsquo;s lives. For example many of the service users who attend have challenging behaviours and need regular opportunities to let go and freely run around, ELHAP has a huge playground which allows them to do this, aiding them to express their emotions.</span></strong></p> <p class="MsoNormal"> <p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size: 13pt; line-height: 115%;">The service users gain a unique opportunity by attending ELHAP which they could not experience anywhere else promoting integrated free play and allowing the service users to take risks in a safe and stimulating environment. HOWEVER with funding continuing being cut, this service would not be possible without donations. Therefore I want to raise as much money as I can to ensure the service users can keep benefitting from this service. Please dig deep at the thought of Betteridge attempting to run 13miles!!!</span></p> <p><strong>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
