<p>Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.</p> <p>I am trying to raise money for makaton, im surprised at just how many people makaton helps daily, including my son Harley. He was born with very limited hearing, he had glue ear in both ears and underwent an operation to have grommits fitted in both ears, but unfortunately this only worked in one ear so he has 95% hearing loss in his left ear. Because of this harleys speech and language and understanding has suffered very badly, he has developmental delay aswell and because of this we use makaton as a way of helping him understand and communicate with us and other people.&nbsp;</p> <p>Both me and my husband went on a course to learn makaton to help both us and harley and all family members to understand harley and communicate more with him, these courses may not be available for much longer due to budget and funding cuts, so i am trying to raise money so these courses will still be available to help many many more people not only children but adults too.</p> <p>Thank you for taking the time to read this and i hope you can find it in your heart to donate, so try and donate as much or as little as you can every bit will help.</p> <p>Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
