About my charity : Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund
Rabbits are the third most popular pet in the UK, and yet many live miserable lives confined to small hutches with no little or no space, companionship or exercise. The RWAF aims to improve the lives of these beautiful, intelligent and unfortunately neglected animals. Because Rabbits deserve better!

My personal message:

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page. (again)

I promise this will be the last time this year that I will pester you for sponsorship :o)

As you probably already know I love rabbits, and have been running to raise money for rabbits for over a year now. In that time I have completed lots of 5ks, 10ks and half marathons, and I completed a full marathon in Edinburgh earlier this year. In one of my 10k races I was the 10th woman across the line out of about 90 women. Not bad considering that age is no longer on my side, and that all the other runners were part of a running club !!

The Edinburgh marathon was definitely a special event for me. I ran with Carol, and Kay joined us for a half marathon, and my son Peter ran the final relay leg. We had a great time, and although we were a little achy afterwards we were very proud of our achievement. So much so that Carol, Kay and I wanted to do it again !! So we signed up to do the Loch Ness Marathon on 5th Oct. Yes, we might be foolish, but to run in one of the most beautiful parts of the country, we'd be more foolish to say no.

So here I am again asking you to consider sponsoring me again. I know many of you have supported me in the past and for this I'm very grateful. For anyone who is considering sponsoring me this time I am very thankful to you. Any amount, no matter how small will be much appreciated by the Rabbit Welfare Association. They are only a small charity and dont receive much support, which is partly why I chose to run for this charity in the first place, that and because I love rabbits.

Donating through Justgiving is quick, easy and totally secure. It’s also the most efficient way to sponsor me: Rabbit Welfare Association and Fund gets your money faster and, if you’re a UK taxpayer, Justgiving makes sure 25% in Gift Aid, plus a 3% supplement, are added to your donation.

So please sponsor me now! The bunnies will love you for it and so will I ....
