Simon and I are going to be running in the Great North Run this year to raise money for Wishes 4 Kids.

Wishes 4 Kids is a children's charity based in Leicestershire, which has the aim of granting a wish for children in Leicestershire who are life limited, terminally ill, have experienced life-changing physical or emotional traumas, have suffered major abuse or are diagnosed as HIV Positive.

Wishes 4 Kids has already granted hundreds of wishes for local children. If we could raise enough money to grant a wish to just one child it will be worth all the effort and training.

We have chosen this charity in memory of our Grandpa who sadly passed away aged 99 on 24 September 2008. Our Grandpa was a great supporter of children's charities and we would like to carry this on.
