I have somehow got myself in a situation whereby I am attempting to run (optimistic) 13 miles around Tyneside in just over 4 weeks time for the Great North Run. Eeek.

I'm raising money for St Johns Ambulance, a great charity to have over 45,000 volunteers working for them in assisting over 130,000 casualties every year. In addition to the first aid they offer, the charity also has one of the countrys largest youth organisations, provides comunity care and trains over 1/2 million people every year in first aid.

I would be hugely appreciative if you are able to help me raise some money for this charity as, besides the fantastic work they do, there is a strong possibility I may need their assistance on 5th October.
