Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit Charlotte's JustGiving page.
Charlotte was diagnosed with an aggressive brain tumour in May 2007, four days after her 16th birthday. Sadly, Charlotte lost her battle against this wicked disease on April 21st, 2008 – exactly one month before her 17th birthday. Charlotte humbled us all with her amazing courage. It was her wish that her Fund of Hope should be established, so that her battle will not have been in vain. Charlotte’s I believe I can Fund of Hope is raising money to support research and translational medicine at the University of Portsmouth. brainstrust is proud to be supporting Charlotte’s Fund of Hope. One thing you learn very quickly when faced with this devastating news, you never stop looking for a cure ….
In May, a group of 12 horse
riders and one runner are doing a 75 mile sponsored ride in the
Brecon Beacons to aid vital research for Brain Cancer at Portsmouth
University. We need all the donations we can to make sure that we find a cure for this catastrophic disease.
