Please help our Memorial Hall renovation. The hall, the focal point of our community was constructed in 1950 in memory of those who died in both wars. We are a small community of 150 households and need to raise £250,000 for a major overhaul before it becomes unusable. Find out more at www.justgiving.com/charltonmusgrove

What do we propose?

Our 50 year old hall built in memory of those who died in both wars need major work.

Many years of voluntary work and consultation have resulted in a detailed proposal to modernise the existing building.  These plans have been submitted for planning permission. The parish council has now recommended these plans for approval.

Proposals include; new heating, insulation, windows and roof. Small extensions at each end, improved storage, a portable stage and cloakrooms as well as providing a meeting room and slightly longer hall.

Our last fundraising events raised:-

Plant sale  £850
Bull evening  £1000

Auction £6500

Clay shoot £900

Great - many thanks!

Our local appeal was launched in May 2008.
