<p><strong><span style="color: #ff1493;">Hello my name is charly nelson, I am going to tell you my story about Endometriosis.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff1493;">It started about 4 years ago when i was 12. I started getting pain and i soon ingorned it and thought it was just part of growing up. However when i turned 15 it got much worse and i knew that because i had gone to my nans house for dinner,&nbsp;I had&nbsp;severe pain in my stomach and ended up laying on the floor sweating, crying and unable to move. My mother soon realised i was in pain in the next room and call an ambulance however at the hospital all they said was that it was growing pains and that they only found a small amount of irritation in my blood samples. I then got rushed to hospital 3 more times with the same diognoses but me and my mother didnt believe the doctors and thought it was something much more than just growing pains. I then went to Bupa and soon saw a <span style="font-family: Calibri;">Paediatrician and she soon started to investigate my case. I had several&nbsp;things done, I had&nbsp;loads of</span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">&nbsp;blood tests, CT scans, ultra scans, urine tests and i also had to keep a pain diary so the doctor could know how much pain i was getting and if it was related to food however it was not. She then reffered me to a gynacologist and straight away booked me in for a laproscopy to see if i had endometriosis. Once i had the operation i got told on the same day that they did find endometriosis and i also got a letter to confirm it. I then got treatment&nbsp;and is now on the pill to help slow down the grown of the endometriosis. Its unfair that i have got this now as im still only young, it has effected my life and my performance at school however Bupa helped me so much.I would like to raise money to Endometriosis UK awareness week to help the charity discover new ways of helping the condition and easier ways of diagnosing the condition.</span></span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff1493;">Thankyou so much for reading my story and understanding.</span></strong></p> <p><strong><span style="color: #ff1493;">Charly x</span></strong></p>
