<p><span style="color: #800080;">I am taking part in the St. Barnabas Night To Remember 2012 Night Walk - a 13 mile walk along the streets of Worthing starting at midnight on the 23rd June 2012. This annual event raises money for our local hospice here in Worthing, which offers care and support to those with life-limiting illness and their families. It's an invaluable facility for anyone who finds themselves in need of this type of care and support. </span></p> <p><span style="color: #800080;">I am walking because of our friend Bruce, who was diagnosed with cancer of the oesophagus in May 2011; he has secondary tumours in his liver and abdomen and is currently undergoing a second regime of chemotherapy.&nbsp; </span></p> <p><span style="color: #800080;">Bruce has a wonderful spirit of determination to conquer this horrible disease and has inspired me and a group of wonderful ladies ('Bruce's Babes')&nbsp; to forego our beds and walk through Worthing, dressed in pink, at midnight on a Saturday night - we must be mad!!!!!</span></p> <p><span style="color: #800080;">Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure.
