On 23rd November, Chaz ran the 10km Great Ethiopia Run in Addis Ababa.  He completed it in 1 hour and 35 minutes! He did this to raise money for Hope International's vital water projects in Southern Ethiopia. Chaz is spending the week following the race visiting the various projects that Hope is involved with. In Chaz's words... "Those that know me will appreciate that a) me running and b) me running in a hot country are two factors that should encourage digging deep into pockets. Photographic evidence of my state at the finishing line will be provided..." . HOPE International works in the Derashe Woreda district in Southern Ethiopia where only 11% of the local population has reliable access to safe drinking water.  One year after HOPE established water projects there, the incidence of diseases such as Malaria in the local communities surrounding the water projects were all cut in half or more.
