Barchester’s Charitable Foundation is a registered charity that helps older people as well as working age adults with a learning or physical disability or mental health issue across England, Scotland & Wales. Our focus is about connecting or re-connecting people with others in their local community. We give grants to help reduce isolation and loneliness, promote group activities and generally improve people’s mobility and quality of life. We aim to give grants that will help people lead more fulfilled lives and reach their full potential.

Story

The Barchester Healthcare Foundation makes grants to older people and other adults with a physical or mental disability.

As a company we are proud to support the excellent work the Foundation does and keen to ensure this work continues. Please support the Chelsea Ramblers by donating what you can when we ‘care to walk’ on 6th November 2008.

Your money will make a real difference by supporting practical solutions  that lead to increased eductaion, personal independence and quality of life - so please dig deep and sponsor us online!

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us and the Barchester Healthcare Foundation will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.

First pint for participants is on me at the finish line!
