As some of you may know already I am taking on the challenge of the tough mudder this august 20th along with 23 of my work colleagues to help raise money for Starfish Greathearts Foundation.

Just to give you all a bit of back ground on the tough mudder if you don't already know, it is an endurance event in which participants attempt 10-16 mile long military style obstacle course. It will include certain obstacle such as the "Balls to the wall" (which as some of you will know is a lot politer than what i will be saying on the day)

I have never done anything like this before, it is definitely going to be a challenge and will test all of us, but with a bit of team work we will all help each other to finish the course. I am looking forward to getting a bid muddy and afterwards being able to say that I have done it- what an achievement (I am not however too keen on getting my hair muddy- I might have to invest in a shower cap or swimming hat haha)

What a better way to raise money for a charity, by having fun at the same time.

 'Starfish Great hearts Foundation' are a charity committed to helping children in south Africa who have been affected in one way or another by the HIV/AIDS pandemic.
