Story
As many of you know, I started running for the first time since being at school last Summer to take part in a 10k in Hyde Park. The euphoria of actually finishing (and the attractive tin foil wrap I had seen so many athletes wearing on tv as I grew up) drove me to enter the London Marathon.... and I was very lucky to be granted a place to run for Help The Aged. 26 miles is quite a difference to 10k! It took a great deal of effort and training on may part to complete it, and it was ENORMOUS fun and a privilege to run for Help The Aged, a charity dear to my heart. It was a very hot day but I managed to get around in five hours and twenty nine minutes! Please give what you can to help me raise money for them.
There is no judgment attached .. give what you can afford. Every penny will go towards assisting old people worldwide. Think on it as investing in your own future. God willing, we will all be old one day!
If you are interested in assisting the charity further please let me know and I will put you in touch with the events co-ordinator.
This site will keep on collecting money for a few months, so keep on giving! I know I have busted my target, but it would be great to raise as much as possible.
Much love, Cherry x
