Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
WHAT'S IT ALL ABOUT?
I'm not getting any younger and though to myself, What physical challenge I could do this year? After much consideration and thinking I settled on running to all the police stations in Cheshire.
Why, Cheshire, Why Police Stations and why run it?
Well I'm a police officer in Cheshire, and I'm always up for a new challenge, and riding it would be too easy.
I have taken the list of police stations directly from the Cheshire Police website, and worked out the optimum route. It works out to be 18 stations and 136 miles. Some basic maths followed and I settled on a time limit of 24 hours, just to make it a little more interesting.
It's not just a challenge, I am also intending raising much needed funds for the charities whom look after our injured armed service personnel. They have been a god send to my family in recent weeks, as we have unfortunately had to use their services, after a nephew, Jason Jameson, fell victim of an IED in Afghanistan.
